Year 12 Anya's Wish Fundraiser

A cherished Year 12 tradition at our College is raising funds for Anya's Wish on Activities Day during Graduation Week. Anya's Wish is a research project at the Children’s Cancer Institute aiming to develop new and less harsh treatments for osteosarcoma.

PLC Armidale alumna Anya Zuber was just 13 when she was diagnosed with high-grade metastatic osteosarcoma, an aggressive and life-threatening bone cancer. After a courageous six-year battle, Anya sadly passed away at 19, the year after graduating from our College.

This year, our Class of 2025 proudly raised over $2,000 in support of this incredible cause. Well done, girls!
