ruby moon

2024

An unsettling 'moved reading' of Ruby Moon was performed by our talented Year 11 drama students at the Armidale Playhouse twicein Term 2 as part of their study of Australian Contemporary Drama and Theatre.

As well as acting, the girls' pulled together to create the elements of lighting, sound, costume, set, props, marketing, producing and directing to stage this one-act magic realism play by Matt Cameron that explores the repercussions of loss, grief, guilt, anger and suspicion, through the eyes of Mr and Mrs Moon after their six-year-old daughter goes missing.

And it was mesmerising.
