PLC SYDNEY

135 YEAR CELEBRATION

2023 International Student Science Conference

In May 2023 some of our girls attended PLC Sydney's International Student Science Conference as part of our sister school's 135th-anniversary celebrations.

This annual event brings together students from around the world to share a science and cultural experience to increase understanding and appreciation of scientific challenges at a global level.

Over the course of five days, eight of our high-performing Year 10 and 11 Science students were selected to join with students from Germany, India, Italy, Hong Kong, Taiwan and the oldest all-boys school in Tasmania, The Hutchins School, to explore the theme Bright Minds Shine a Light.

The phenomenal program in Sydney resulted in many new friendship networks being formed.
